2nd Belgian Uniportal VATS Lobectomy Masterclass was held on December 7-8th, 2017 at the Ghent University Hospital in Belgium.

Dr Diego Gonzalez Rivas, the inventor of the uniportal VATS minimal invasive surgical procedure has lead the masterclass.

The Masterclass featured lectures, live surgery and hands-on human cadaver training.

This masterclass intended to provide practical and technical experience with the uniportal VATS lobectomy procedure to surgeons interested in switching from multiportal to uniportal VATS. The cadaver workshop presented an opportunity to "rehearse" this technically demanding procedure before taking it to the patient.
