The recently concluded Free Diving Championship in Kuwait witnessed exceptional performances from the Polish representation, as they secured numerous gold and silver medals.
The competition showcased the remarkable skills and determination of the athletes, with Poland's free divers leaving an indelible mark on the event.
Leading the charge was Julia Kozerska, who emerged as a dominant force in the Static Apnea (STA) and Dynamic No Fins (DNF) categories. Kozerska demonstrated her unwavering breath-holding ability and control, clinching the gold medals in both disciplines. Her stellar performances captivated the audience and showcased her mastery of free diving techniques.
Magdalena Solich-Talanda, another member of the Polish team, also showcased her prowess in the water, earning accolades in multiple categories. Solich-Talanda's exceptional performances garnered her a gold medal in Dynamic with Bi-Fins (DYNBF), as well as silver medals in both the Dynamic No Fins (DNF) and Dynamic (DYN) categories. Furthermore, Solich-Talanda achieved a remarkable feat during the championship. She set a new world record in the Dynamic Apnea discipline, specifically with bifins, covering an astonishing distance of 263.64 meters.
Adding to Poland's success, Mateusz Malina, despite reporting issues with health and training, secured a gold medal in the Dynamic No Fins (DNF) category. Malina's exceptional performance demonstrated his remarkable breath-holding skills and technique, further contributing to the Polish team's triumph at the championship.
