Dr Ivan Schewitz the leading cardiothoracic surgeon from Johannesburg, Rerpublic of South Africa authorised a publication in the Journal of Visualized Surgery about the first lobectomy in Africa – “Uniportal lobectomy in Africa: a beginning”.
