British Short Track Speed Skating Championships 2026

David won a silver medal at the British Short Track Speed Skating Championships, finishing second on the podium. This is an incredible achievement, which required a tremendous amount of effort and determination on his part.

David worked hard for many months to prepare for this competition. Every training session was not only an opportunity to improve his skills, but also involved many sacrifices he had to make. The competition was truly fierce, and achieving such a high placing in such a demanding environment is a testament to his talent and commitment.

Furthermore, during the two-day competition, which took place on 3 and 4 January, David improved his personal best in the 777m event.

Hubert did not rest either and, during the Championships, improved his personal best in the 1500m event twice.
He competed in the combined Junior Men’s category, which comprises the Junior B and Junior A categories. He was up against competitors three years his senior, yet he did not give up and fought on right to the finish line.
