On 20th and 21st of September another edition of Surgical Immersion Workshop was held in cooperation with the fantastic Fundacio Puigvert in Barcelona.

There are currently multiple courses on surgical techniques for the therapeutic approach of urological cancers. Improving expertise in surgical practice is one of our main concerns and also the end point of our learning process. In this oncology surgery immersion workshop, practical surgical aspects were approached and updated, from the most basic to the most controversial. It is addressed to urologists and other professionals involved in uro-oncological surgery.

This time three participants from Poland attended the workshop to study and deepen the perspective on uro-oncologic tumour treatment.

The lectures were conducted by dr. Jordi Huguet and dr. Alberto Breda.

During the workshop there were four cases conducted and analyzed:

Laparoscopic radical nephrectomy, Laparocopic nephrouretectomy, Retroperitoneal partial nephrectomy, Transperitoneal partial nephrectomy.
