On November 23rd, 2015 we visited together with Dr Diego Gonzalez Rivas the Hospital of Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Kaunas Clinic in Kaunas, Lithuania.

The Uniportal VATS course and live surgery focused on Lung Cancer treatment. Dr Diego Gonzalez Rivas performed two operations on that day: a Lower lobectomy and a upper lobectomy in non-intubated patient.

Every case was introduced with a lecture and followed by a discussion. The event ended with a viewing of the "This is life" movie, starring Dr Diego Gonzalez Rivas.

We provided the Click'a V® polymer ligating clips for these live surgeries.

We would like to thank Dr Diana Samiatina-Morkuniene, chief of the Thoracic Surgery Department for a warm welcome and perfect organization and management of the event. Dr Diana Samiatina-Morkuniene organized the master course and live surgeries at the Kaunas Clinic, which were a great success!
