The Surgical Immersions Workshop is a course in renal uro-oncology, organized by Fundacio Puigvert with the cooperation of Grena Ltd.

In 2016 we have 4 workshops planned in the Surgical Immersions Workshop programme. The first edition ended in February and you can read about it here. This was our second workshop this year organized in cooperation with Dr Alberto Breda from the Fundacio Puigvert.

These workshops are a rare opportunity to see some of the best surgeons in action, but also exchange their own knowledge between participants.

The two-days-long course allowed the participants from Poland and Russia to learn about technical details of the operations that followed on the second day of the course. The participants were directly involved in four surgeries performed by urologists of the Oncologic Urology Unit and even stayed longer at the hospital to learn as much as possible. The leading surgeons presented very interesting techniques and innovative approaches to some of the procedures. 

During the operations, the surgeons used some of our products: polymer ligating clips, laparoscopic Limited Use and 3mm laparoscopic instruments.
